Today, we are continuing our series on frequently asked questions that we get in syndication from investors.
One of the biggest questions we get from investors is what is my return projection? It’s my first time coming into syndication what should I expect If I invest with you in a multi-family apartment, self-storage or mobile home park?
So today under current conditions we are seeing anywhere from a 7% – 10% cash on cash return. That means if you invested $100,000 with us you would expect to get returns throughout the year totaling from $7,000 up to $10,000. Over the life of the investment (approximately 2-5 years), we would expect distributions plus a profit from the sale of the property to be an annualized return from the mid-high-teens.
The opportunities are optimized fairly quickly. For self-storage, we are seeing returns in about 2-6 years and for mobile home parks, the total time period may be a bit longer even up to 10 years.
Another important question we get asked a lot is “How do I get paid?”
